Philippine Creative Industries Development Council Secretariat (PCIDCS)

The Philippine Creative Industries Development Council Secretariat (PCIDCS) spearheaded the development of the Philippine Creative Industries Website as a valuable resource for creative individuals and organizations within the Philippine creative sectors.

In pursuant to Section 18 of the Philippine Creative Industries Development Act (PCIDA), otherwise known as Republic Act No. 11904, “the Secretariat shall also develop and maintain a website that shall serve as the primary source of information on statistics, events, government programs, and benefits for Philippine creative industries. This shall involve the integration of any existing websites and content on programs implemented by the government for all creative industry domains in the country.”

The PCIDA was enacted on 28 July 2022 as the policy of the State to promote and support the development of the Philippine creative industries by protecting and strengthening the rights and capacities of creative firms, artists, artisans, creators, workers, indigenous cultural communities, content providers, and stakeholders, also known as the “creative players” in the creative industries.
