The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.
WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. A guide to understanding and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 is available at: https://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/
All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Department of Transportation (DOTr)
The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTr) in the Philippines has a vital mandate. It focuses on developing, promoting, implementing, and maintaining integrated transportation. These efforts aim to ensure safe, reliable, responsive, and viable services, ultimately accelerating economic development and better serving the transport.
Infrastructure for Artistic Mobility: The DOTr can enhance transportation infrastructure to facilitate the movement of artists, performers, and cultural workers. This includes improving public transportation networks, ensuring accessibility to cultural venues, and promoting sustainable travel options.
Promotion of Cultural Tourism: By collaborating with other agencies, the DOTr can promote cultural tourism. This involves integrating cultural heritage sites into transportation routes, organizing cultural events, and encouraging tourists to explore artistic destinations.
Creative Spaces within Transport Hubs: Designing transport terminals and hubs to include creative spaces (such as art installations, galleries, or performance areas) can foster artistic expression and engage travelers.
Support for Creative Entrepreneurs: The DOTr can collaborate with creative entrepreneurs (e.g., designers, filmmakers, musicians) to incorporate artistic elements into transportation projects. For instance, public art installations at train stations or bus stops can enhance the overall experience.
Digital Platforms for Artistic Content: Leveraging digital platforms (websites, apps, social media) to showcase local artists, cultural events, and creative projects can raise awareness and promote artistic endeavors.
